Back in early 2022, Cody and I (both new to the
disability industry) met at a local event in Rockingham WA.
We were eager to connect with others in the space,
but quickly realised there was no easy way to build a strong,
local NDIS network — so we started our own.
In 2024, using our knowledge of the sector, our network and the stories and feedback we heard from people living with a disability we took things further, launching small, local disability expos in different communities across Australia. Our expos focus on participants, ensuring they are accessible, not too loud or overcrowded and include our very popular DEC Quiet Hour from 12pm - 1pm.
In 2025, as our events become more and more popular we found many people coming to our expos in search of information and answers to their questions around aged care. We could see the need for dedicated aged care expos to help the aging population and their families navigate the aged care system and find quality local providers who could assist their loved ones. We encourage you to find one of our local community events near you and join us for a day filled with information and connections.
